Your evening experience in Xi'an begins with a feast of local dumplings, nearly 20 varieties that are steamed and stuffed with a delicious assortment of vegetables, meats and seafood. But the banquet is only the prelude to another feast for the senses. You'll experience the local color and pageantry of the Tang Dynasty Show. The performance showcases the music, dance and colorful costumes that have graced the region for centuries.

The dinner and entertainment lasts for two and half hours and will fill a memorable evening in the walled city.

We enjoyed the Dumpling Banquet very much! It was at a dumpling place downtown with a view of the Drum Tower. My kids enjoyed the show too.

Large assortment of dumplings but pretty average. The show was OK. Please keep in mind, you will not be moved to the seats in front of stage. You will watch from your banquet table. Didn't feel it was worth the price.

Okay, so it's a tourist attraction. But it's a really entertaining one! Colorful costumes, beautiful cast, some fun surprises not going to spoil it!...all in all a very pleasant evening and definitely photogenic. Noticed that one of the numbers mirrored a statue in town...gives it some authenticity as to the rest of it...I have no background in Tang dynasty so I have no idea how authentic any of it is. The dumplings were fun, the staff trying to sell mementos tableside was not too pushy, all in all a very good experience.

Our transferres were prompt and polite, the meal was extensive and the show was a fun way to see some of the old in a new format. Worth the evening.
