Itinerary

The Hohe Stein lies in the Dunkelsteinerwald and is a quiet and idyllic place with a wonderful view over a large part of the Wachau and down to the Danube. For some, it is considered the most beautiful vantage point in the entire Wachau. But even the remote Rote Wand invites you to linger and is a worthwhile destination. This tour we offer in two variants, with a descent on the scenic Mauertal or the historically interesting (Römerweg, Türkentor) Kupfertal.

Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not possible for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair
