Viator Exclusive: 'Game of Thrones' Tour in Split

It was a thoroughly enjoyable tour of some of the historic sights where the show was filmed. Out guide was a true fan and so enthusiastic about the guided tour and ensuring we got all the the understanding of the the film spots scene by scene. he was very knowledgeable of the history of those sites as well which was extremely interesting as well. Very worth while tour!

Our guide did a fantastic job sharing not only GOT highlights and information, but also intermingled local history!

Thanks Christina for a great tour. Not to big, not to long and covered off the highlights of Split. We were asked if we had seen the series before we started and Christina made sure not to spoil it for tourists like me that had not seen anything past season 6! Would have liked a little more of a personal tour of the castle but it was very hot.

Our guide Luka was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly a big Game of Thrones fan. His passion came through and it made for a fantastic experience. I'm so happy I did this tour while in Split. I highly recommend it!

My GoT tour with Luka was great! While I could have gone to both of the locations on my own, doing a special GoT tour made a big difference, as Luka had print-outs of all the shots from the show that were filmed in all the locations we visited. He was very knowledgeable about not only Game of Thrones, but the history of Split and Croatia in general and we basically got a 2 for 1 deal. A GoT and a Historical tour in one.

Organized and as advertised. More than half on the tour of 6 people (that is how many can fit into the van) were actually not GOT fans, me being one of them, so I was pleasantly surprised that there was a great balance between GOT and Croatian/Split info provided. Would have liked a little more explanation of things (I am hungry for knowledge on yours!) but overall this was a great experience that I would recommend!

Our tour Guide Agnes was Brilliant! Extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. Highly recommended!

The walking tour itself was great, but our guide was not quite polite or caring. We didnt have enough time for taking photos or walking around, and we were actually scolded / blamed by the guide if we went away to take photos. But then I was glad that i did so, otherwise I couldn't take any photo for the Fort or the Palace as we didnt have any time, the guide just kept urging us to walk or listen to her illustration! Again, the tour itself was great, the GoT gossips were great, but it was not that enjoyable.

We had only one day in split but would recommend this tour,the castle where they filmed the game of thrones and the views were amazing to see , even if you didn't watch game of thrones TV series. The meeting point instructions were easy to follow. We were picked up on time and taken in an air conditioned van,which was awesome as the temperatures were in the high 30's.As part of the tour you also got a guided tour around the old town and and into the basement under the diocletians palace.Our guide was very knowledgable.
