The palace served as the main place of many Joseon kings, and is the best preserved among the five royal Joseon palaces. Its beautiful garden is known for perfect harmonization with surrounding nature. It was listed as UNESCO world heritage site in 1997.

Experience Korean traditional Knot and make your own bracelet at Dongip Knot Work Shop.

Stop At: Bukchon Hanok Village, 37, Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul 03059 South Korea

Bukchon is a traditional residential area located between Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine. Its 600-year history spans the life of the city itself.

You'll visit Bukchon Cultural Center and Kodurang Hanok also.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Insadong, Insa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul South Korea

You can taste Korean tea at a traditional tea cafe at Insdong.

We chose this tour tour because we had limited time in Seoul. The highlights we were shown were quite interesting and our guide was very friendly, informative and caring. Unfortunately, the weather that day was very cold, way below freezing. Given the weather, the tour was difficult. Perhaps, alternative tours should be planned for such weather.
