San Francisco has gone electric scooter crazy and we have the most kick butt scooters available. Jump on and blast off with our 2.5 Hour Electric Scooter Tour that wheels through Maritime Park and then out to the Marina Green through the Presidio on the way to the Golden Gate Bridge. Guests enjoy incredible views of San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and the City Skyline. After a brief recap session on how to safely operate the electric scooter, you will explore San Francisco’s Waterfront for approximately 2.5 hours. Tours are limited to 10 riders per tour guide. Your experienced and fun tour guide will narrate your experience through a compact single ear-bud sound system. Each guest is issued a compact radio receiver so they don’t miss a detail of what the guide is saying about each site seen on the tour. Numerous stops are made for photos – so don’t forget your camera.

Tour is 2.5 hours long, including recap/ training time.

• Palace of Fine Arts
• Return loop through the Marina District and the Presidio
• NOTE: Tour does not include entry into museums or admission fee attractions. Every tour makes numerous stops for photos.

Electric Scooters are not allowed on Golden Gate Bridge. Walking on bridge is OK if tour schedule allows.
Due to time limits we cannot provide riders with no previous bike riding experience (balancing) with a full training on riding and balancing on a scooter.

Be age 16 and up and under 290 lbs (131 kg). Under 18 on tour with parent or guardian. Safety 1st.
No guests under 16 - Current California State scooter riding law
Pregnant guests are not allowed on the tour due to fall risk.
NOTE: If you have never ridden a bike this may not be the activity for you. Riding a scooter requires side to side balance similar to riding a bike.
Be able to easily and quickly step on and off the scooter without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail. You will be standing for 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
Due to fall risk this activity is NOT recommended for some guests age 70 and up or guests with recent surgery, mobility/ motor control issues and other disabilities. Please call to discuss prior to booking. We want every rider to have a safe tour.
Helmet and safety vest are provided and required.
No flip-flops, open-toe sandals, or high heels.
Sign guest liability waiver.
On some hills the scooter will require a bit of “kick” to maintain momentum. The electric motors are helpful on the hills but are not strong enough to propel heavier guests up some slopes. Be prepared to kick.
