All guests must be age 12 or older.
All guests must weigh between 100-250 lbs or 45-113 kilos.
NOTE: We have a scale on site and check minimum weights for safety of all of our guests. Underweight guests will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the tour.
No pregnant guests are allowed due to safety reasons.
This activity is not recommended for some guests that are: ages 70 years and older, have had recent surgeries or have motor skill/control issues.
Each customer must sign a Liability Waiver.
Helmets and safety vests are provided and are required.
All participants must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance
Hill portions of the Segway ride are at the discretion of the guide based on experience of the group. This portion of the tour is not guaranteed and no refunds are given if not included
ALCATRAZ
Alcatraz tickets are for the date selected and may not be changed
All Alcatraz departures are the same day as your VIP Segway Tour. If your VIP Segway Tour is at 9:00 AM, then your Alcatraz departure will be later that afternoon (e.g 3:40pm). If your VIP Segway Tour is at 1:30 PM, then your Alcatraz departure will be early that morning (e.g 8:30am). You will receive your Alcatraz departure time after booking
For security purposes, a government issued photo ID is required by all guests to board the Alcatraz ferry
Alcatraz audio tour is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Mandarin, Portuguese and Korean
You may leave Alcatraz Island at any time; ferries depart every 30 to 40 minutes
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

The Segway tour was the highlight of the trip for my teenage kids and their parents. You can cover a lot of ground. There were four of us, and we had no one else in our group so we had a lot of control over the itinerary. Since we had been on Segway before just once, we did the advanced tour. Going down Lombard in a Segway was a blast. Melanie, our guide, was terrific. She knows a lot and was a lot of fun. Part of the reason I booked the package was because I wanted the kids to visit Alcatraz, and it was sold out I only booked a few days before. We had a bit of a glitch exchanging our voucher for the tickets the tickets were in someone else's name - maybe we filled in for a cancellation. It got straightened out, but I'd advice getting to the pier early, just in case. The Alcatraz visit itself was interesting and well worth it. Overall, I'd highly recommend the package.

The guide was awesome on the Segway tour and allot of fun. One person in our group said it was one of the best tour experiences she ever had and would have to agree!

Fantastic tour. We really enjoyed it. Special thanks to our guide Carlos, who made great photos from the tour. Best Segway-Tour we ever made. Don't think about the money. It is absolutely worth it.
