Start your day with a 9:00am pickup from the lobby of your Rome hotel. Meet your driver and board the awaiting private vehicle. From there, make the 50-minute drive to the city of Tivoli.

Visit the gardens with its famous fountains. Admire the Italian- and French-influenced design of the gardens inside of the Villa. The nearby Aniene River provides the water to all the fountains and waterfalls.

Once you have finished exploring the gardens, head to the Roman countryside. Admire the beauty of vineyards and rolling hills as you go. Stop at a trattoria, a local restaurant, for a wonderful view of the landscape. Taste local wines such as Bianco Frascati and a dry red wine as you savor a typical lunch. Finish your delicious lunch with a locally-produced cake.

After your lunch, board the luxury vehicle and make your way back to your Rome hotel for a 4:00pm arrival.

My guide - Allan - was wonderful. The Ville D'Este was beautiful. Saw the ancient Sibilla and had lunch in a beautiful restaurant. All worth it!
