Your night tour of Rome starts at Piazza di Spagna to meet up with your guide, who leads you to the most famous landmarks in the city’s historical center. As you walk, soak up the romantic ambience of the Eternal City lit up in all its glory.

Begin with an illuminated view of the Spanish Steps, and then walk over to the elaborate Trevi Fountain, where you can throw a coin in the water to ensure you’ll return to Rome someday, according to legend. Continue to Piazza Colonna, a square that gets its name from the marble Column of Marcus Aurelius, followed by a stop in front of the Pantheon, a stately temple that dates back to 118 AD.

Next, visit a local wine bar (also known as an enoteca) to partake in the Italian tradition of an aperitivo, which consists of an evening drink (in this case, you’ll receive a glass of wine) served with classic Italian appetizers such as cheese, bread, olives and cured meats. Then continue your walking tour to Piazza Navona, one of the city’s most popular squares where cafes and bars surround the Bernini-designed baroque fountains.

Your tour ends here, where you are perfectly placed to enjoy the rest of your evening out in Rome on your own.

This our is well made rganized and the aperitivo on the square at the pantheon was the excellent. I had a large Peroni and was served two different kinds of pizza, pesto pasta, bruschetta, and more. The Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps were crowded but still worth seeing. Good tour at a good price for what you get.

A little sprinkle of rain added to the ambiance. Seeing Rome at night is a unique experience, especially seeing the fountains lit up. Just make sure you have good footwear if it is raining as it can be slippery. The apertivo was fun but service was slow. The guide was knowledgeable but tried too hard to be informative. Also make sure you know how to get back to where you want to go as the city looks different at night. Two Seniors
