After arriving on the French motoring scene in the 1940s, the attention-grabbing and economical Citroen 2V cars quickly became de reigeur. While their look has changed over the years, the original models – such as the one used on this tour – are held in deep-rooted affection in France. So, enjoy the attention from Parisian locals and visitors alike as you ride around in a true original: a soft-top vintage 2CV.

Your route takes in all the top Paris attractions around the city center, such as the world-famous Eiffel Tower. Hear how this feat of architectural engineering has become Paris’ signature sight, and cruise past other monumental icons like the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Learn about the city’s artistic heritage as you travel past Musée d'Orsay – home to a staggering collection of Impressionist art – and the Louvre Museum on Paris’ arty Left Bank. Admire the opulent Neo-Baroque façade of Opera Garnier, and travel along the Champs Elysées boulevard. Other highlights include Place de la Concorde, Les Invalides and the Trocadero. Please note: 2CVs are small compared to modern vehicles, so with comfort in mind, bookings are only accepted for three people per car, with one driver assigned per trio. Should your group be larger, no worries – up to nine people can book this private tour, and each group of three ride in a separate car while traveling together in a colorful convoy.

The 2CV City Highlights Tour is the perfect way to begin a vacation in Paris. After a long flight, the 1.5 hour private car tour was our first activity in this enchanting city. We were happy to have the chance to relax in the car while zipping around Paris with our informative guide, who gave us a great overview of city sites. Friendly and accommodating, he picked us up directly from our apartment and dropped us off upon request at the Eiffel Tower at the end. We did this tour on our arrival to Paris to get an overview of the city it was my daughter's first time in Paris. The car was adorable and a good way to see the sights but it was also incredibly bumpy. The driver drove pretty crazy and we had a hard time understanding him most of the time his French accent was very hard to understand and the car was loud. I don't think I would do this again.

Loved this tour - such a great introduction to Paris on our first night. To see how much Parisians love the Citroen by praising the car as we drove in it was wonderful! Must do if you come to Paris.

A wonderful way to introduce two nephews to Paris. Historic old car, great driver/guide, and the added adventure of opening and closing the top in between sudden bursts of rain. All met with good humor by driver and great humor by 6'4 nephews jammed in the back where they said they amazingly had enough room!.
