Enjoy a late-afternoon pickup by luxury car from your Paris hotel and head out of the city in style for the 1-hour journey to the famous Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. Considered to be among the country's finest castles, this 17th-century Baroque masterpiece is the inspiration behind the Palace of Versailles and even featured in the James Bond movie

Moonraker.

On arrival at the castle, hop into a golf buggy and take a spin through the gardens. Or, head inside with your audio guide and explore the grand interior. Marvel at lavishly-decorated hallways and suites, tapestries and 17th-century furnishings. As you wander through the castle at your leisure, gain insight into its history and heritage from your audio guide.

As evening begins to fall, head through the gardens, which shimmer with the lights of over 2,000 candles, and take your seat in the castle's grounds for your 3-course meal with Champagne and wine. If the weather is cold, your meal will take place inside a marquee, instead. Choose from a beef, fish or vegetarian menu, both of which use local, seasonal produce (see

Sample Menu below).

At the end of your meal, return to your luxury car and allow your driver to whisk you back to your Paris hotel, where your Vaux-le-Vicomte evening tour will come to an end.

Earth Menu :
- Smoked foie gras glazed with mango on an allspice biscuit, cranberry and goji berry chutney
- Roast veal fillet with morel cream, Soisson bean velouté with crispy bacon
- Double-chocolate crunchy praline with a hint of salt and Szechuan pepper

Sea Menu
- Marinated gambas prawn and sea bass ceviche, black sesame shortbread and baby salad leaves with cider vinegar
- Cod steak poached in cockle jus, sweet potato and yuzu cream, mini seared aubergine
- Double-chocolate crunchy praline with a hint of salt and Szechuan pepper

Vegetable Menu
-Crunchy cucumber with pea and coriander broth, fresh herb mesclun salad
-with mango vinegar
- Tian of Provençal vegetables with aubergine caviar and piquillo pepper coulis

One golf cart can accommodate four adults or three adults and two children under the age of 10. If your party includes five people over the age of 10, you will be given two golf carts to use
Each driver must hold a valid driving license
A credit card deposit of 200 euros per golf cart will be required upon arrival at the château
The dinner will take place outside, as long as weather conditions permit; otherwise it will be in a marquee
The temperature can drop in the evening; please dress appropriately
Your luxury car departs Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte at 11:30pm. You may request an earlier pickup by contacting the château's ticket desk at least 2 hours before your requested departure time
Vehicles used for the limousine transfer are Mercedes S-Class (up to 3 people), Mercedes Viano (4-6 people), or equivalents.

Chateau trip had a few problems car showed up thinking they were picking up 2 vs 5 persons. This caused us to wait in 95 degree heat while the limo company scrambled to find us a larger vehicle. Kudos to the first limo driver as he was delightful and stayed with us until other car arrived. Unfortunately, this caused us to be an hour late to the Chateau which meant we had less than 45 min to tour the house. Dinner was excellent and fireworks were beautiful but VERY short-lived e.g. less than 7 min.
