Kailua Beach Guided Tour to the Mokulua Islands- Full Day

The tour begins in the morning when you arrive at the meeting location in Kailua town. Friendly staff will help you check in, and equip you with lunch, snorkeling gear, and a dry bag for your valuables. Your guide will provide some paddling instruction, and from there you'll head to Kailua Beach for the kayak to the Mokulua Islands.

On the 1-hour paddle through Kailua Bay and Lanikai, keep an eye out for Hawaiian Green sea turtles that frequently surface for air, and you'll beach your kayak on Moku Nui--one of the offshore islets. After enjoying a lunch on the beach, follow your guide to Queen's Bath--a gorgeous natural tide pool--or trek to a cove on the back of the island to enjoy some snorkeling or cliff jumping. Your guide is a master kayak paddler, so you'll learn the safest and easiest way to be comfortable while paddling your kayak, and if you're up for the challenge, your guide may even show you how to catch a couple of waves.

After leaving Moku Nui behind, you'll land your kayak on a world-renowned beach to snorkel with local marine life. Your guide is well-versed in Hawaiian history, biology, and local geology, and will offer stories of the island's formation as well as some ancient legends. 

When it's time to return, your guide will safely lead you back to shore at Kailua Beach, and the tour ends when you return to the store to collect your belongings. Just hours after the tour is through, the guides will post photos they took of your tour so you can relive your adventure by viewing the photos and remembering your kayak adventure.
