Tour pick-up is 30 minutes prior to tour time and offered at hotels within the French Quarter and Business District. Group sizes are typically under 15 and never over 25. This is a bus tour with two opportunities to get out and explore. One stop is in St Louis Cemetery #3 for a guided tour and about 10 minutes to look around on your own. The tour makes a second stop in City Park at the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden and Morning Call Cafe with 20 to 30 minutes to have beignets and look around the sculpture garden. Our tour guides are all licensed giving you an insider’s perspective of the city and information regarding history, architecture, and activities. Aside from the two stops your tour will also pass through and cover many other highlights, such as:
Congo Square, gathering place of slaves and eventual birthplace of Jazz
St. Louis #3 – our third oldest Roman Catholic “City of the Dead
City Park with its three hundred year old live oaks, Besthoff Sculpture Garden, and Storyland
Site of one of the major levee breaches after Hurricane Katrina, the 17th Street Canal
St. Charles Avenue with its stately mansions and oldest streetcar in America
Bayou St. John – historic waterway and place of trading for Native Americans and settlers
Lake Ponchartrain and the longest bridge over water in the world, the Causeway
Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral

Well worth booking! Our guide, Lee, was excellent and really knew his New Orleans facts and history. Pickup was smooth and on time.
We were a little discouraged because it was raining like cats and dogs when Lee picked us up but by the end of the tour the sun was shining and we were all well informed and insatiated with good info on The Big Easy and can’t wait to come back! The tour was informative and fun!
Very informative. Our tour guide was great. We loved stopping at the park and eating a beignet. The cemetery tour was fascinating.
Tour was great BUT annoyed I paid Viatow 45usd hotels selling at 8/10usd
Covered all the areas of the city. Would of likes more time to spend at the park to walk around and less time on the expressway.
I thought this tour was great. I didn't have a lot of time to explore New Orleansin a class for most of my time there, so this tour enabled me to see the highlights of the city, enabling me to select a few places to revisit. Loved the cemetery and seeing the old houses with their beautiful architecture as well as the history that was shared. I could have done without the refreshment stop, but then again some folks may have needed it. Also, I have arthiritis which limits my comfort with walking, so this was perfect for me!
great way to see the city. lots of information was given to us also.
