What a great tour. Bob our our tour guide was great. He went above and beyond to make our tour great. From time of pickup to drop off top notch. Highly recommend this tour.
Recommend to all. Excellent mini tour of Hoover Dam!!! Perfect amount of time and still had remainder of day!
I was extremely disappointed that the tour did not include the inside of the visitor's center. Our guide was very informative, however, but the weather was so hot that it probably made our hike up to the bridge very miserable. It was nice to have the water in the van, and it was well air conditioned. I suppose it told me on the explanation that there was no visitor center, but I was still disappointed. It would have been cheaper and more comfortable to just rent a car
Was a nice trip, they pic us up on time, I was so happy to do something different from Vegas strip street. The time of the tour was perfect, 3 hrs.
Our tour guide John, was hilarious and made the trip all the better. I never thought We would be taking a tour of the Hoover Dam in Arizona but my family and I did and and enjoyed learning the history and process it took to build. The only bad thing was Mr. Las Vegas tour doesn’t pick up guests from any downtown hotels but my family enjoyed it !!
Our tour with tom was a lot of fun with impressive views at the hover dam. Tom knows everything about the dam and how to have a greate time with his guests. Best wishes Marcel, Sabrina and Janine.
I really enjoyed this trip. The tour guide, Tom, was very helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend this trip, especially if you are tight for time on holidays, as it take 3-4 hours from Las Vegas.
This was my family and I first time visiting the Hoover Dam. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a good time. John, the tour guide, was awesome!!!! Totally recommend it.
4 out of 5 . Great experience 2 criticisms. Van was 45 min late picking us up. Confirmation call came at 1230am Eastern Time. We were sleeping. Flight left at 6 so we were up at 3 to get to airport on time.
Great tour! However, extremely hot! Guide was very good and knowledgeable of the area and he provided water and a snack. The bottles were not in a cooler so as the time passed they just got hot. The van never would cool off so you were not able to cool off in between stops. This is very important when you are not used to 115 degree temps. Overall the trip was worth it and I'm glad I went. It was spectacular!
Very nice tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The van we were in was comfortable and clean. The views and the history was amazing.
Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed this small group tour (my husband, 28 yo old son, 25 yo son and me). It was 3 hours, start to finish, and covered all the highlights. Our guide, John, was incredibly knowledgeable about the dam, and the area in general, so it was was enjoyable and informative from the start. We stopped at Lake Mead, drove through Boulder City, walked out on the bridge with incredible views of the dam, drove across the dam, stopped for more photos and information, then drove back. I highly recommend!
Our tour guide was great, loved the history he shared with us and he helped us take pictures. Loved the smaller tour group size, there was 7 in our group.
We had a group of 6 for the tour and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our driver Bob was extremely knowledgeable about the dam but also the area and the history. He was very accommodating, we had a great time. This is a great way to see this marvel but not spend the entire day doing so.
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. He was prompt and friendly. The dam and surrounding areas are breathtaking.
We (my sister and I) loved the Hoover Dam tour. Bob was very friendly and accommodating! From the time he picked us up at our hotel until he dropped us off, Bob was very informative, funny and we could tell he loved what he was doing! Thanks for the experience!
Just the right amount of time. Took my 7yo. Was a bit disappointed we did not stop closer to the Dam but overall a nice time an great guide.
This tour was a great way to get away from the Strip and see some nature and awesome engineering! Our tour guide Tom was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. Highly recommend doing the 9 am tour as it was already pretty hot by the time we got to the Hoover Dam! Snacks and cold water were provided which was very appreciated. We stopped several times to see different views of Lake Mead, the bridge, and the Dam. Our only complaint is that some of the logistics got messed up on the way back and we ended up picking up people from the next tour before we were dropped off. The tour was initially right on schedule - we were going to be dropped off at noon but ended up having to stay in the van until 12:30. It ended the tour on a less organized note and the beginning of the next tour was likely not as enjoyable as the beginning of ours. Tom handled it very smoothly but it was not ideal. The tour itself is worth 5 stars; I am giving 4 because of the drop-off/pick-up mixup!
This is a great tour if you don't want to be gone all day. The tour guide was great and provided a lot of information. The reason why I didn't give it a full 5 stars was because in the tour description, it said that the tour would stop at the famous 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign, we didn't stop there. That was one reason why I booked this tour. Otherwise it was great but this was a big part missing for our group that we all were looking forward to.
We would recommend this tour because it took 3 hrs from pick up to drop off...we chose to go at 8 in the morning before it got too hot. We got to see all we needed to and it was fascinating to learn about the building of the dam. Our driving was very knowledgable and friendly.
It was a great tour to Hoover Dam. Great views. Enjoy that was a small group (there was 7 of us plus a couple). Our tour guide (John) was great and very knowledgeable. 3 hour tour was just enough. Highly recommend.
The tour was very nice as it was in a small setting. My group would have liked more time at the dam to explore. Overall good tour.
Awesome tour our guide made the trip even better! Will be doing it again when we return. Its a must I highly recommend it
We went along to this trip yesterday and had a great day! Our tour guide was Tom who was very knowledgeable on the Hoover Dam etc. He was friendly and helpful and made sure everyone on our tour all had a good time. Be sure to bring a camera to help take in those memorable moments!
Great way to end off our trip, Dan was great!! Hit all the high points of the dam, kids loved it, highly recommended!!
Excellent excursion to see beautiful Lake Mead and the engineering wonders of Hoover Dam. Our tour guide, Dan, was incredibly knowledgeable and we got to visit a few other fun sites along the way. Great side trip as a break from the Strip!
