Stop At: Wieliczka Salt Mine, Jana Mikolaja Danilowicza 10, Wieliczka 32-020 Poland

Every year about a million tourists from all over the world visit the famous Wieliczka Salt mine to admire the historical chambers hewn from the living rock salt, as well as salt sculptures, brine lakes, and underground chapels.

Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Krakow's Rynek Glowny Central Square, Center of Old Town, Krakow Poland

This is the place of the most “mosts”: the most important public space in Kraków, the most expansive Market Square of medieval Europe, it gathers everything most characteristic of the city and has its most distinctive hallmarks, and last but not least: the most beautiful, the most important, the most charming, the most…

Pass By: Sukiennice (Cloth Hall), Rynek Glowny 1/3, Krakow 31-042 Poland

One of the symbols of city, a pearl of renaissance architecture, Kraków’s oldest “commercial centre”: Sukiennice or the Cloth Hall is one of the most important elements of the architectural heritage of Krakow.

Pass By: Town Hall Tower, Rynek Glowny, Krakow 31-001 Poland

70 metres (230 ft), 110 stone steps, the executioner’s dungeons, and 700 years on the Main Market Square: this is the Town Hall Tower, the only remnant of the original seat of the city authorities.

Pass By: Bazylika Mariacka, Pl. Mariacki 5, Krakow 31-042 Poland

A history spanning over eight centuries, a high altar by Veit Stoss (Wit Stwosz), a bugle call, the star strewn murals by Jan Matejko covering the vaulting: all this in a single church! Moreover: in the very centre of Krakow!

Pass By: Slowacki Theatre, pl. Sw. Ducha 1, Krakow 31-023 Poland

One of the most famous and most recognised Polish stages, it has operated continuously since 1893. The building of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre is counted among the most precious examples of theatre architecture in Europe.

Pass By: Barbakan, ul. Basztowa, Krakow 30-547 Poland

The pearl of Krakow’s fortifications, the Barbican is one of the most exquisite examples of medieval military architecture in Europe. Never captured during a siege, it passed into legend when its defenders repulsed the attacking enemy forces with – believe it or not –a single shot!

Pass By: Kazmierz The Former Jewish District, Szeroka 24, Krakow 31-053 Poland

Once independent, the city situated south of Wawel was the hub of Jewish life in Kraków for centuries, and today it is one of the greatest tourist attractions of the city.

Pass By: Reformed Tempel Synagogue (Synagoga Tempel), Corner of Miodowa and Podbrzezie, Krakow Poland

The Tempel Synagogue is worth a visit for at least two reasons. Firstly, the stained glass windows, which are among the best preserved of their kind in Poland. The other is its “non-orthodox character”.

Pass By: Old Synagogue (Stara Synagoga), ul. Szeroka 24, Krakow 31-053 Poland

Standing on Szeroka Street Street, known not only as the stage of the final concert of the Jewish Culture Festival but also as the centuries-old centre of Jewish life in Kazimierz, is one of the oldest synagogues in Poland preserved in such a good condition.

Pass By: Szeroka Street, ul. Szeroka, Krakow Poland

Szeroka Street is the heart of Jewish Kazimierz. Let a testimony to its significance be the fact that four synagogues used to stand on the street, which was unheard of anywhere else in Europe.

Pass By: Remuh Synagogue (Synagoga Remuh), ul. Szeroka 40, Krakow 31-053 Poland

The smallest of the seven synagogues of Krakow, it has long contrasted with the others due to its decidedly more modest decor. After the renovation completed in April 2016, it became the main site of prayer for the members of the Jewish community in Krakow.

Pass By: The Ghetto Heroes Square, Plac Bohaterow Getta, Krakow Poland

Situated in the Podgórze district, which in 1941 was turned into the Krakow Ghetto, the former Plac Zgody [Concord Square] was designated 'Umschlagplatz' under the Nazi occupation, the place where the Jews had to congregate to be deported.

Pass By: Apteka pod Orlem - Ghetto Eagle Pharmacy Museum, pl. Bohaterow Getta 18, Krakow 30-547 Poland

Tadeusz Pankiewicz could not possibly have foreseen while taking over his father’s pharmacy that he would make history together with the enterprise.

Pass By: Muzeum Krakowa, oddzial Fabryka Emalia Oskara Schindlera, ul. Lipowa 4, Krakow 30-702 Poland

Where the tumultuous history of a world war meets everyday life, and private lives – a tragedy that affected the whole world.

The over all organisation and execution were faultless. Our bus courier Kasha was exemplary with her helpfulness in coordinating the two parts of the package. The english speaking guide in the salt mine was competent but rather spoiled the end of the experience by leaving us with not enough briefing as to where to meet her again to make the exit - all of our group were a bit baffled! Matthew who drove us in the electric car is a very interesting person, very good of course with his local knowledge but also delightfully curious so that our tour was a lovely conversation as well.

The Salt Mines were amazing. It was however at times hard to hear the guide re the one ear headphone that kept crackling/ guide out of range which impacted on us not getting all the info. Transfersprivate Kraków tour by car was great with a very informative driver.m, it was pry of a super saver.
