Undeniably gorgeous by day, Florence is somehow even more so by night, when the city seems to positively glow from lights flickering on its Renaissance buildings. Handily, your Florence Night Segway Tour takes place at this ideal time, ensuring you’ll capture the magic of top Florence sights at night, minus the daytime crowds and the soaring midday heat.

In the early evening, meet your friendly guide and start with a 30-minute orientation to get familiar with your two-wheeled, electric, self-balancing Segway. Once you feel comfortable, you’ll weave through Florence’s charming narrow streets, following your guide into the historical center.

Glide from Piazza della Repubblica, a bustling city square, to the beautiful Basilica of Santa Croce with its distinctive green and white marble façade. After stopping for photos and to listen to audio commentary about this historic area, set off again drawing cheerful glances from stylish Florentines on their evening strolls.

Piazza della Signoria is the next stopping point, and you’ll quickly discover why so many consider this as the beating heart of Florence. Framed by more majestic monuments, statues and picturesque buildings than you could ever hope to see, the square’s true showstoppers include the copy of Michelangelo’s famous David sculpture and the grand town hall – Palazzo Vecchio.

Continue out of the square to see Strozzi Palace, a glittering showcase of Renaissance architecture, and gaze in awe at Florence Duomo, with its distinctive orange dome dominating Florence’s nighttime cityscape.

Your tour finishes nearby, and after returning your Segway, your guide will point you in the best direction to get back to your hotel.

Worthwhile tour that helps you to get your bearings of the beautiful city of Florence. I was a little disappointed at the length of time it took to get started and also I would have prefered it if the tour had included a stop at the Michealangeo Piazza but otherwise the guide was very knowledgeable and it was a lot of fun

This was a fabulous tour and Martzia was our tour guide with Segway Italy. She was very informative and entertaining. We covered a huge amount of territory on the Segways and will highly recommend the tour to start your visit to Florence to get an overview on the city. The gelatto at the end was an added plus.

This tour was so much fun!!!! We had never been on Segway, but our tour guide took the time to teach and let us practice... she was also helpful throughout the tour if you needed help with your Segway. It was a great way to quickly get around Florence and be able to see so many diverse locations. Our tour guide was AMAZING!! She was not only very knowledgeable, but also light and fun, answering questions, joking with all of us and you could overall tell she really just loved what she did!

Benedetta was a fantastic guide!! Patient as guests learned the Segways. She is very knowledgable and enthusiastic about Florence. The sights came to life with her stories! Only thing to change-confirmation was vague about storage for packages, having water with you and navigating steps. Fun tour!!

Lots of fun and a great way to get the lay of the land the evening we arrived. Wear extra layers for the night tour as we froze in the wind and light rain.
