Start your day with a scenic drive in a rugged 4x4 Jeep to reach the desert. Watch a Falconer demonstrate the hunting skills of the Emiratis’ favorite bird and share in his knowledge about why the magnificent Falcons are so special to the Nation. the first photo-stop will be at the famous Fossil & Camel Rock which are unusual rock formations hidden in midst of high sand dunes. Enjoy a picnic breakfast in the lap of the Arabian Desert. Continue your drive to reach Hatta Heritage Village where you have free time to explore the country’s past at this open air museum. The last stop brings you through the stony Hajjar Mountains to Hatta Dam from where you have amazing views. Later you will drive back to the City.

We did this trip about 18 months ago. However we still recall it as a very useful and memorable trip. A great chance to get out of Dubai and see the real culture of the Emirates.

Sights at Hatta are excellent and the red sand dunes ride is really exhilarating

This tour was not my 1st choice, but the Desert Morning Tour was already full by the time I booked. Our guide was very knowledgable and pleased to answer the many questions I had. Hatta is interesting but it is a long trip for a destination that is mildly historical. The 4x4 on the dunes was definitely the highlight of the trip - better than any Disneyland ride! The picture that represents the tour is a little misleading as you do not go four wheeling into river areas however the Hatta reservoir is remarkable. If you want a taste of the geography and culture of Dubai - outside of downtown - this tour does it.

Really enjoyed the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Not sure lunch was that great or required - could have just had cool drinks and got back to Dubai earlier and not paid for a lunch, but maybe some people like the lunch option...!
