You will be picked up from your hotel by your private driver and representative and taken to the port on the Nile River (the longest river in the world and the main source of life for Egypt). Board the luxurious boat and enjoy a few hours of wonderful Egyptian food, mesmerizing belly dancers and whirling Dervish dancers (Tannoura), enchanting music, live band and the lovely breeze on the River Nile. Take pictures of the show and of the wonderful nightly view of the illuminated city of Cairo from the top-deck.

Once the cruise is over you will be driven back to your hotel.

I only have good things to say as our guide Fady and our driver Mohamed, they were awesome! Fady first contacted us early, in fact, prior to our arrival to Egypt. Once we arrived he reached out to let us know what time he would arrive to our hotel and what he was wearing. He was punctual in picking us up and was genuinely attentive to our needs. Making sure that we were seated close to the entrance before the cruise boarded and making arrangements for our family to sit with us. We were one of the first groups to enter the cruise with belly-dancing, live music and a great buffet. Again, Fady was very attentive to all of our needs and our family's needs.

With so many Nile dinner cruises to choose from through Viator, we decided on a mid-priced cruise. The time was changed from 6 to 7:30 the day before the cruise. We were picked up promptly by the Viator representative and arrived in plenty of time for the cruise. And then the tour buses arrived. They were seated first and we ended up the last ones seated at a table for 4 with no view of the stage for the entertainment. The room was packed to over capacity, the line for dinner was winding through the room and it was after 9:00. We asked to be taken back to our hotel.

Having dinner in a Nile cruise is truly an amazing experience. My advice is that you should take the 5pm time slot since you can watch the beautiful sunset then.

It was a great cruise! The food was ethnic and our tour guide Mady was excellent! Thank you Mady for a great time and sharing with us information about the Nile and about Egypt. We felt completely safe with our driver. The music provided during the cruise was fun and they seemed to enjoy themselves. The belly dancer was fun as well. The Egyptian dancers were very fun and humorous! We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
