Meet at the Gulou Dajie Metro Station in the late afternoon to begin your food tour. Your local guide will recommend some local snacks for sampling, recommend the most popular amongst the locals, and also have you try out some specialties from regions other than Beijing. You will explore the stories behind tasty Beijing delicacies like spring onion pancakes and mini hotpots. There is an endless supply of local specialties to sample as we eat our way to the biggest produce market in the center of Beijing.

Along the way you’ll meet local culinary artisans, like noodle and tofu makers. Join the locals for their daily food shopping while practicing some Chinese taught by your local guide. Learn about different vegetables and spices, and maybe even pick up a trick or two about authentic Chinese cooking.

We’ll end our Beijing food tour back at at Gulou Dajie.

The best thing you can do! If you wann experience real Beijing than go to the Streetfood tour. Really experienced Tourguide explains everything and gives some nice insisghts of the coulture.

Was more afternoon than night started at 4pm and the guide spent most of the start telling us all of the markets we couldn't see because it was closed for holiday season. That said the guide introduced us to alot of interesting food, and knew alot about the area.

Our tour guide, Jerry, went above and beyond in sharing information and even helped us find our way back home on the subway! As far as food is concerned, we only went to two different places to try foods and spent a large time sitting in a restaurant trying various treats. There was a tour of the market that was interesting, but I would expect to try food from more places.

It was great to taste the great street food's the guide Michele choose for me according to what i like or would try to. In this tour you'll stop to a local market a great way to see out of my country fruits and vegie's ! Even turtles !!
