Set off on two wheels to Khlong San on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, Bangkok’s Old Town district. This neighborhood is perfect to explore by bike, as we visit Kudi Jeen, a community where the descendants of Portuguese settlers have made an enclave. Get interesting insight into the rustic ways of this sino-portugese community and get a taste of their famous cake from one of the oldest bakeries in Bangkok.

Further on, experience one of Bangkok’s most visually-striking landmarks, Temple of Dawn, from where you’ll board the local ferry to cross over to the Royal District of Ratanakosin Island. As the sun and twilight set over Bangkok, it’s time for a complimentary cold Thai beer or soft drink at a rooftop bar with stunning views of the city. At night, Bangkok becomes more and more beautiful with thousands of colorful lights; it’s wonderful to oversee the city from a rooftop.

By now, you’ll be biking Bangkok by dark, and you’ll experience the intense transformation of light and colors. Bangkok’s most beautiful parts are often overlooked at night, but not this time: you’ll make a visit to Wat Pho. You might have been there during the day, but at night it’s something totally different and much more enjoyable than the overcrowded venue in the daytime. Visiting at night gives enchanted vibes, as you’ll be amazed by the picturesque pagodas and stupas graciously lit up

Your guide will finally lead you through China Town and Bangkok’s biggest flower market, where you’ll experience the market at one of its busiest times, with a kaleidoscope of millions of vivid blooming colors of flowers. A perfect end to a great Bangkok Night Bike Tour experience.

This was an excellent bike tour! I met our tour guide at the bike shop, and joined up with two other people who had signed up for the tour at the same time as me. I was happy that the tour fitted us for our bikes in the beginning and provided us with helmets though not required and lights. Around 6 pm we started our ride. I was a bit anxious about weaving in and out of Bangkok traffic at night, but that was quickly put to rest as our guide knew the ins and outs of all the streets and took us along a lot of back roads with very little traffic. When we did hit a big road he was quick to signal to us and was very verbal as to how and when we should proceed. The tour was supposed to be four hours and after five we were still going strong, in fact I think the tour would have lasted even longer if we did not have to get to the BTS before it closed at midnight -- we definitely got out monies worth! We visited many temples and Bangkok sites and had them all to ourselves. The only downside was at many of the sites we could not go inside as they were closed due to it being late at night. Still the views were spectacular, and the evening light lit them up in ways you don't generally see. Also along our journey our guide was happy to buy us water, snacks our group decided to try bugs on Khao San Road, his favorite flowers from the flower market, and even a sit down dinner unexpected by us. It was all well above what I expected to get from this tour. By the end I was full of knowledge, food, and, although we stopped quite a bit, exhausted from a long bike ride. Whether you are an avid biker, or have barely biked this is an excellent tour for all. We go the pace the group wants, and you get to see so much more of Bangkok then you could do by yourself as it is faster then walking and trying to taxi though all of the traffic. Highly recommend!
